What gets my goat, is that the mayor gets hell bent on "beautifying" the city for balloon fiesta, which attracts people worldwide, then conveniently forgets the rest of the year. I keep him on his toes & take lots of pictures of things that need to be done/fixed & I call him out all the time. 😁

I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico & I always take a couple of trash bags with me on my walks. I feel the same way you do, because one would think the mayor would have city employees maintaining all walking paths. I don't mind doing my part but it's certainly never ending.
