Eh, in a one-party system, things are weird. When it was Adams in the 2021 field, the right-wing candidate with even *less* Democratic partisanship than Mamdani or Cuomo ended up coming out on top. This is certainly superior to that scenario!

The equivalence most people between Jews and white South Africans really explains it. I don't love that we gave preferred refugee status to white South Africans; I just don't see a diaspora Jew moving to Israel as a similar case, while most people do.

The right appears to want to eliminate health insurance *entirely*, and go back to a time when you could get a doctor to set your broken bone in exchange for a chicken from your farm. (Docs wouldn't treat illness bc RFK will eliminate illness thru clean food and Jesus)

They're in denial about this because Americans despise educated urban people, esp white lib types. They have to be just as bad if not worse in all ways. After all, "I would have voted Obama a third time" is the indication of the worst type of racist.

The problem is, as soon as a sympathetic president gets elected, they're all pardoned and sent back out into society to beat their wives, get in drunken shoot-outs with cops, etc.
