It's painfully obvious that this whole thing the last couple days is for very rich loser billionaires and oligarchs to gain control of TikTok and shift it just as alt right as the rest of them. TT was the one place progressive journalism had equal exposure, they need to destroy that.

Are we really just chill with a US President offering to BUY another country? How am I hearing this just casually reporting about on #NPR? Honestly, NPR has been beyond and disappointing lately for journalism.

Had a friend start talking to me about Indexed Universal Life Insurance and said 'if I want to sit down for 45 minutes to chat.' I immediately got MLM vibes(I did not sit down). I know about IULI, but it's not a good investment vehicle for me. Is there a seedy MLM side to this too?

How do you find time for personal professional development between 40+ work hours, dedicated family time, and then two hours post kid bedtime to deal with the house, prep for the next day and read news/subs? I've wanted to get stronger on Azure and databricks but have nothing left in the tank!

They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.
The report estimates that this reduction in public service use SAVED the city $589k.

I'm part of a Working Moms Group on other social media and there was a whole conversation on if you teach young kids that police arrest you and take you to jail or if they help you. You could tell the crowd was all white because no one thought to mention they also can kill you.
