With 2023 coming to a close, I think the greatest highlight in Data Science, for me, is Sam Altman being fired and rehired in a matter of days. Talk about a comeback story. It is also scary because you wonder about the motives of those behind the emerging AI industry and who is calling the shots.

It is truly interesting that in response to ChatGPT, some professors have worked so hard to make their tests difficult to be taken with ChatGPT that the experience has become unusable by the students taking them.
