And the high profile boost arrived. We have seen this before, again and again. It came in the manner of quoted repost which is powerful in boosting engagement due to X’s algorithm. If it was a “!” reply, it would not get 27M views.

Today, another "non-citizens vote" rumor went viral online. Similar to a previous case we covered in our work, this rumor also relies on what appears to be a heavily edited video that claims to show migrants "confessing" to registering to vote. Here are two of our posts that directly address this.

This is also the first time that CHP has won the most votes in the country since 1977. Last night, Erdogan conceded defeat in the election, without making any claims of election fraud or conspiracy theories. He accepted the results gracefully. This map looked quite different in 2019 local elections.
