(He/Him/They/Them)
Watching Jaws and Little Mermaid at 7 did something to me. It made me a mer-obsessed, ocean fearing/loving cartoonist.
Next thing you know, you're gonna be writing fix fiction.

Highly recommend. Seeing all the mers jump into the water and swimming is a prodigious magic.

I can hear this clip.

"TRANSCENDENT SWORD!"

It's even called Unfortunate Souls. Oh that's good.

Yeah, it's a convention for Mermaiding. mermagic-con.com

Even featured in a documentary on Netflix back in 2019.

Yeah, technically I do. But I went to Mermagic this year and conned for the first time.

It inspired me to turn WF into a print book. But those early issues did not have enough pages to be coherent as one, or even lengthy.

So I was forced to basically reboot the first story arc.

I started my first iteration in 2021 back on Webtoon and it was a messy start. I tried making it with the idea of making it a variety magazine with multiple stories running in monthly issues, with Q&As, guest art, fake mermaid ads, etc.

It was fun, but too much for one person. Rebooted this Mermay.

Constantly working on my webcomic the old fashioned human way. Much to the detriment of the algorithm.
Starting Saturday the 6th of September, enjoy a weekly page of Wet Frontier! The fantasy webcomic about merfolk in the wild west! Because of fish!

Please like and repost! It helps a ton!

And the voice of Donkey Kong up until Bananza.

A voice like cheap wine is such a fantastic descriptor.

Hard agree on Luigi and Bowser, that was so wholesome.

And Rosalina looks amazing (which you rendered really well here btw!)

Just waiting now on Yoshi whenever he shows.

Ooh, I like the way you render those shadows.

There's nothing quite like going back in time like this.

Cripes, that Imac styled compy.

Like seeing you taking off training weights and saying "alright, let's let the muscles really flow now." Incredible.

This is some incredible work. I can't stop looking at this amazing hair and how creamy and smooth it looks.

And an amazing use of light. Gosh, seeing your illustrations outside of the comic environment is so inspiring.
