Council Member Jonathan Bingle has conceded.
Tonight, the results show that we came up short in our bid for re-election, losing by just 156 votes. While that’s not the outcome we worked for, it is the outcome before us today. I want to begin by congratulating Sarah Dixit on her victory. Running for office is never easy, and earning the trust of voters is always an accomplishment. I hope she will lead with integrity, transparency, and a commitment to all the people of District 1. I stand ready to help ensure a smooth transition so that the work of serving Northeast Spokane continues without interruption. To my supporters, volunteers, donors, friends, and neighbors: thank you. Thank you for the countless hours knocking on doors, making calls, talking to your friends, showing up at events, sharing posts, and believing in the vision we’ve pursued together. Your support has meant more than you know. We built something meaningful, not just a campaign, but a community of people committed to a safer, stronger, more affordable Spokane. As we move forward, we will work to ensure that every vote was counted and counted legitimately. That is not about changing the outcome; it is about honoring the process. Democracy depends on public confidence, and verifying the integrity of every ballot is a responsibility we owe to every voter, regardless of who they supported. While tonight may feel heavy, I remain hopeful. Spokane is still worth fighting for. The challenges are real, but so is the potential. I believe our best days are still ahead of us if we stay engaged, stay committed, and continue working to make this city a place where families can thrive, businesses can grow, and every neighbor feels safe. Thank you again for the honor of serving you. It has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. And the work of strengthening Spokane does not end tonight. Zero votes left to count! It appears Sarah Dixit has won a seat on Spokane City Council by more than 100 votes. Because the percentage difference is more than 1% it will not go to a recount.

HOLY SHIT crazy news for Spokane progressives. Dixit closed the gap even more in the most recent ballot drop to less than 70. And there’s still 24k total ballots left to count in the county. City turnout is looking wildly high for an off year election

Interesting challenge results for City of Spokane, where one of the races currently sits with less than 200 votes separating the conservative incumbent and his progressive challenger. 282 ballots have been challenged so far with the majority of them from people under 45. 67 votes from ages 17-24…

Traffic Impacts Expected Monday (11/3) for Crane Demobilization Near Spokane City Hall SPOKANE, WA Oct 31, 2025: The rock relocation project at Monroe Street Dam has been completed. The crane that was used for that work will be transported out of the project area on Monday, November 3rd. Traffic will be impacted on several streets in downtown Spokane throughout the day on Monday, November 3rd. Spokane Falls Blvd. will be closed between Post St. and Lincoln St. from 4:30 AM to 7:00 PM. All street parking will be closed on Spokane Falls Blvd. between Post St. and Lincoln St. Spokane Falls Blvd. will be reduced to two lanes between Stevens St. and Post St. Local traffic will still be able to turn north on Post St. to park at meters and/or have access to cross the Post St. bridge. Thru traffic will be detoured south at Howard St. The parking garage at River Park Square will maintain access to the entrance and exit. Traffic control personnel will be in place throughout the crane demobilization process to assist drivers and ensure safety.
