What I love about Northern Mockingbirds is their audacity to sing anytime they feel like it. Call them the pop radio of nature. If there's a top 10 bird song list, the Mockingbird is singing it too.

Are real tree stumps hot pink? No. Do I or this chonky Northern Mockingbird care? Also no. ❤️

Grief during the holidays is weird cause how do you balance "I'm so happy to see these people" with "Everything in this kitchen reminds me of you and how much it hurts you're gone." So I painted this.

I don't know how I got on astronomy BlueSky but I paint stars. Does anyone like art?

A 18 x 24 inch painting of a forest pasture scene. Left to right, there are trees in the background and beautiful rolling hills of lush green grass. On the right there is a large tree with realistic tree details with a tree stump sitting next to it. A family of foxes watch their two kits, baby foxes, play in a hollowed tree stump. One is inside and one is trying to look at a firefly. In the far right background, there's a Highland bull watching the family. Slightly transparent to indicate a forest guardian watching over the family. The scene is set towards at night with a large galaxy background full of stars. This was painted for a baby nursery.
