My time traveler friend has pretty well acclimated. Saw him on Saturday but wouldn’t have picked him out of the crowd he blended in that well.

Not seeing much of my Time Traveler friend these days. He got a full time job and putting in massive amounts of overtime. He’s making up for lost time I guess. He got to enjoy ice cream for the first time since he arrived. He didn’t realize how much he’d missed it.

Serious first world problem! So I was gluing magnets to sunglasses as one does. The super glue does an excellent job, however, getting superglue on your fingerprints makes using your fingerprint a no go for logging onto electronics and accessing your passwords. Woe is me!

I have two beautiful three year old gingers who are under the weather. it's been a long weekend. Quiet today but time will tell. Maybe a trip to the vet tomorrow. 😢

No news from Ttf but I made a seriously good chicken pot pie and picked a couple dozen oranges. Tomorrow is squeeze time - yes, I have an electric juicer.

My TTF goes off to work tomorrow. New steel toed books and a lunch box. It reminds me, somewhat, of my first days of being a teacher - all spiffy new things and a bit of nerves.

TTF got a job today! It’s entry level but it’s a start. He is so looking forward to building his credit since all his credit cards are expired.

My Ttf can’t use a computer or my IPad actually. His knowledge base is too old and the catch-up amount is huge. There’s only so many hours in a day. But he’s happy as a clam being the navigator while someone else drives. As today’s driver, I helped him apply to 10+ jobs. Wish him luck.

Time Traveler Friend spent the day job searching. He’s been here just over a week and I am amazed at how much he’s accomplished. Especially given the enormous learning curve.
