We came across this one, I was delighted that it’s Wellington, but horrified that it’s eliminated the pedestrian mall and made it impossible to reach anything on foot

There’s weather and significant geopolitical events going on, I want push notifications about them, but I can’t have them on without also getting ??? A push notification about the 1995 Rugby World Cup ???
Like I’ve checked again, I definitely don’t have “1995 rugby news” selected

A curse on the RNZ sports editor who sends push notifications about scheduled sports events taking place to the breaking news topic (a mild curse which would be retracted when they stop doing it)

Picked up a copy of this this morning, reading it while the baby sleeps. Wild to be taken back to the uncertainty and rapid changes of early 2020. Maybe the baby will pick this up off the bookshelf in ten or fifteen years to find out more about this historical event

Ah yes, it’s Friday again, and my nemesis (the RNZ sports editor who sends push notifications about live blogs to the breaking news topic) has returned

What do I need to know about a scheduled car race taking place? Nothing. I do not need to know about this, which is why I did not subscribe to sports notifications

Does anyone know the weekend sports editor at RNZ who sends push notifications to the “breaking news” topic whenever they start a live blog about a scheduled sports event? I wish to have words with them

This poster was up in early March so it’s been in my calendar for over a month

Just went to watch someone fold a fitted sheet on Cuba St but there was a massive crowd and I couldn’t see the sheet. I could join the “fold the sheet” chant though

Take every care to conserve the natural beauty of the New Zealand bush, but also sow random fruit seeds. This 1889 Fiordland tourism advice does not hold up

The baby got immunised and did very well (there is a dummy on the kawaiicon lanyard) (isn’t it great how many safe and effective vaccines are now available)

I’m confident my drawing is not good enough to violate the privacy of the baby so here is what the baby looks like

Sometimes I think I have an original thought and then realise it was the central thesis of Michel Foucault’s 1963 book The Birth of the Clinic
