Despite the challenges, I wouldn't be who I am today without the lessons it taught me - both intentional & not.

The most important thing I learned was to support, love, & care for the people around me. It was my focus every day I served & it will continue to be my focus for the rest of my life.

I've been hesitant to share this for many reasons, not all of which are appropriate to share just now. But I want to say two things:

1. I respect ALL opinions on the US military

2. I respect, understand, & am grateful to all my fellow veterans & their families for their many sacrifices
