Sometimes socially oblivious, or too direct. Over-explainer, but I'll still leave details out. Trying to lead with empathy and understanding above all else. Struggles with applications of Poe's Law.
Same. Just fully exhausted all the time between prolonged shifts of unconsciousness.

These have been your federal agents for literal decades. ICE is 23 years old. They picked up right-wing border patrol racists from the moment the DHS was founded. If you don't like this behavior, you need to abolish the agency. Nothing less will fix it.
Uncovered Emails Show Widespread Use Of Racial Slur By Government Agency
Documents obtained by HuffPost show that even some agents in supervisory roles used an ugly term that in some usages evokes violent assault.

In essence, Trump can't 'take' Mamdani's affordability cred, because people know his policies are still hurting people (See opinion polls: tariffs, economy).

But a conversation like this with Trump lets Mamdani show centrist Dems that there's ways they can push back that place Rs on the defensive.

Quite a few things, actually.

* Media coverage against RW 'communist' narrative.
* Line to Trump to argue against ICE invasion.
* Direct access Rs who had only heard slander.
* Trump killed the 'fleeing billionaire' narrative.
* Democrat Party legitimacy in successfully going toe-to-toe with Trump.

i’m not going to tell you that you have to live. i want you to live. i want you to flourish. but what i want for you is unimportant. you have to want those things for yourself. and to get there, you have to learn to love yourself

The divided structure gives permission to ignore higher-functioning or better-masking autistic people, while otherizing those who cannot mask as well. That harms both groups.

We're just not as far from the eugenics-era biases as a lot of people like to think. Especially academically.

Which is why terms like "Asperger's" were jettisoned, because they were constructed around eugenics-laden "You have autism, but the smart kind", which fundamentally works against the idea of "seeing each person's needs" by de-prioritizing help towards perceived normalcy/better masking individuals.

ASD is a catchall. But 'mild' autism people still need support. They're just better at vocalizing social interaction.

The difference is between the name and the 'perceived impact of disability' by an observer. We're working against longstanding systemic, and institutional bias against those labels.
EVERYONE on the spectrum deserves support 💙❤️ #autism #autismawareness #autistic #autismacceptance
