For me, it makes sense in terms of how certain weather makes you feel. Really hot and humid weather can leave you feeling like a person sized armpit.
Heavy, cold rain can leave you with wet clothing sticking to you and water trickling down the back of your neck.
And those things FEEL disgusting.

I am Stephen King, V.C Andrews, and all of the Star Trek novelizations old.
(It's tempting to shout out Diane Duane and John M. Ford specifically, but I liked the awful ones, too.)

I had a boy with both diabetes AND bad kidneys. There was exactly one food he could eat. One night, he expressed his disdain for his diet by opening kitchen cabinet and eating most of a loaf of bread.

Warn naan with Nutella is pretty banger too.

I highly recommend Un Dia by Juana Molina. It's in Argentinian Spanish, and it's experimental and weird and beautiful. And I have no idea what she is saying.

And Fell! Definitely a lesser project, but I really liked it.

Warren Ellis and Neil Gaimen were my absolutely favorite comics authors. When everything about Ellis came out I was disappointed, but not really surprised. Of course, comforting myself, with "at least I still have Neil" didn't go so well.

It's the only one I kept from a fairly vast collection, and I'm honestly not sure if I'll ever read it again. It was my comfort book. I read it at least every other year, but I think it would just hurt now.

They would prefer to rape adults, but they aren't picky. (And I feel gross even writing that sentence.)
At the end of the day it doesn't matter, though. That doesn't somehow make them less evil. If anything it just means they have more people they can victimize.

I think what he is trying to get at is preferential vs non preferential offenders.
Non preferential offenders aren't necessarily attracted to children. They are attracted to the power and dominance of rape. (As all rapists are to a degree, but even more so.)

Even the things he admitted to were, if not criminal, epically shitty. There is no coming back.

In this time of crisis, may I suggest a cute cat?

Hell, I'm a middle aged woman who lives in jeans and pop culture t-shirts, and I follow him. People who can make topics I generally wouldn't care about interesting and engaging are gems.

People make mistakes and then actually try to be better!
That and all of us are overflowing with stress and sadness and fear and anger. Being able to release it in a somewhat controlled manner is cathartic.

They sure as hell never organized a bake sale.

The right is SO tough and manly, unlike those liberal snowflakes. Except for covid masks and whistles. They are scary and hurt.

I never got the Bitch Planet NC that I wanted way back when. I've started thinking about getting it now.

He's cheesy, but in the best possible way. It's charming as hell.

Those jackasses don't deserve Indian food.

I should have taken it to heart. I dated an Erik with K a few years later, and he was a complete rat bastard.

It was genuinely the first thing that had made me feel something in months. I watched the entire show 3 times in a row. Once as is, once with Mark, and once with the commentaries.
It pulled me out when nothing else did. So, thank you for your part in making my life better.

In 2015 I was in the midst of a deep depression, numb and apathetic. I wasted time on Tumblr and began seeing gifs from a show I'd never heard of popping up everywhere. Turns out Mark Watches was watching Leverage and renewing interest in it. I spotted the DVDs at the library.

I think it was Parker that killed it for me. She was always over the top, but in a way that seemed... realistic to the Leverage universe, if that makes sense. In the new one she feels like a cartoon.

Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. I stopped watching so it didn't taint the original.

I had to scroll way further than I expected for Leverage.
