For lovers of Old West, Montana, and Yellowstone Park history the recently posthumously published memoirs of Roy Fitzgerald will be an interesting read. Roy's family came to the Yellowstone in 1873. He was a stagecoach driver in the park, and shook hands with T. Roosevelt at the arch dedication.

"Cape Decision," published in 2019 is set in SE Alaska. "Fjord Land," published in 2024, is the sequel. A prequel to both books, "The Kabul Conscript," is set in Afghanistan.
