I remember the 1990 Ontario election…

I’m finally reading (well, listening to) Sir Terry Pratchett’s last Discworld novel, The Shepherd’s Crown. I put it off for so long, because I didn’t want the stories to be over. Now seems to be a good time to experience this last book.

The biggest problem I see with an early provincial election in Ontario is that voter apathy will probably hand the current premier another majority. I remember a snap election power grab taking down David Peterson, but I have a feeling voter turnout was better in the nineties.

I guess the price of coffee is going up…
