Oh yeah, I think it's 100% fine to crosspost content, but the lack of personalization to the platform (proper mentions, native tags/hashtags, post length, etc) makes it really feel second class. 😕

I just made a Claude Skill yesterday that generates first drafts of posts for @plinky.app by feeding it an archive of my Bluesky posts. 😄

It was pointed out to me by a friend that I should mention that the app is FREE. All caps, free 99, no financing, no inflation, no tariffs, no problem.

Spark is genuinely a very fun daily puzzle game where you learn history, science, pop culture, and more. There’s a new theme every day, where you learn some pretty wild things about Elton John, Pokémon, or Potatoes. Anyhow, I’d like to surprise her so if you do preorder, leave a like or reply. 🙂

OpenAI and Anthropic will do this and justify it as a way to provide super-intelligence to people around the world, the same as Twitter talked about how being free gave people a voice. But let's say they don't, Google and Meta will for sure — which is how most of the world will interact with AI.

1/2 Of course they're going to fall into the same trap. Ads are a sickness because the mere existence of a sizable market encourages the creation of an ad market around it. It's a set of perverse incentives ads that benefits the owner of a platform and advertisers, but never the consumer.
