So I haven't posted about this on social media yet, but this happened last Tuesday night. I traveled from NJ to CT to visit my friend, and came back to my car to find it missing. It was apparently ransacked and set on fire by a group of teens.

Today was a bad day. But it was not as bad as it could have been, thanks to good friends and family, and for that I am grateful.

Happy birthday to my mother; her second great pride is her garden, and while I did not inherit her green thumb, I can at least appreciate her hard work and her desire to live (and raise me) somewhere so close to nature.
