Happy birthday! This is Tim. He’ll be 16 in August so this is pretty much all he does now. He’s learned that when he makes a horrible hacking noise we will rush to feed him, so this is how he wakes us now. It’s the worst alarm imaginable.

If you ever want to purchase to have at home, this is the brand you want. I think Lao gan ma translates to “Old godmother”. It’s the best on eggs, in fried rice, basically all savory breakfasts as far as I can tell. I think it’s mostly garlic, chiles, and msg and it’s perfect

Poor Wonky hatched with all kinds of physical deformities, but she has the temperament of a cat. We had 5 other chickens and they bullied and hurt her constantly, so this orb would have been helpful to have. We ended up just getting rid of all the others to keep her safe instead.
