I used to think nonviolence was naive. Now I'm not sure.

I'm staring civil war in the face and wondering if it could save me...or if it will just get me and so many others killed for nothing.

I think I understand a little bit why that monk self-immolated rather than attack the regime that was persecuting his students.

Which leads to the actual, correct moral of my thread:
Don't get jealous of other people's life, you have yours to live. Bigotry is the bigots' fault, not yours.
