Gaaah I need to see Eddington. Hereditary was a movie that altered my consciousness when I saw it. I’d never seen true, unsparing empathy embodied like that through film. Pure expressionism. I think Aster really grasps/is obsessed with the effects of neoliberalism at the scale of human psyches.
