Oh I absolutely get that and I agree, the lob corp core suppressions are probably my favorite part of all of PM really, though it can be pretty frustrating at times when you spend an hour getting to the final phase of something only to lose and have to do it again (Damn you tiphereth realization)

Don't let the fact limbus is a gacha hold it back for you, it's such a peak game, and honestly one thing it has over Ruina gameplay wise is that there are no bosses that take 1 hour to beat cause they have 7 billion phases, so that's a plus.

You'll love limbus when you get there, it's my least favorite gameplay wise but story wise it is easily my favorite, it more than makes up for its weak points

Lobotomy corporation is such a magical experience that I'm genuinely a little sad every time I remember that I might never experience anything like it again, ruina had me crying a good couple of times, limbus is no different

Goated as fuck games, ruina is my favorite out of the three games but limbus' cast is the most lovable cast of anything I've seen
