I honestly don’t have a strong guess which is more likely because imho both options are equally negligent and show blithe disregard towards the responsibility of emergency management. I mean look at this comment from the judge that should’ve been in charge

This exact river valley has had similar catastrophic floods in the past, including the July 1987 flash flood that killed 10 teenage campers and resulted in 33 having to be airlifted from trees and flood waters.”

Okay so this reporting is grotesque and disturbing and an absolute must read, but also props to Reuters for using their money to do the right thing.

The Costume Institute at The Met is a public & historical good, and while I’d like a better funding source the people who say the #MetGala is just a vapid party for vain rich people are wrong and in some ways more superficial and pretentious than the celebrities and institutions they’re criticizing.

Transit chart for my birth chart and the moment of my grandma’s passing Mon Feb 24,2025 10:32AM EST. Transiting Jupiter in Gemini (ruler of my Pisces sun) is conj. My Ascendant by 1 degree. It is also square Saturn and Mercury in Pisces in my natal tenth house, which is sextile transiting Moon in Capricorn in my eighth house (which is opposite Mars in Cancer in my second house). Also, the MC is conj Pluto by 1 degree just exiting my Eighth house, among other transits that scream someone died.
