They never learned to use the opposing forces.
See, the me who can use demon power sold his soul to the demon spirit who granted them. Which in turn evolved that power. But now, that’s the main energy he uses. And same with the me who has angel powers.

Sort of? Kind of yes and no. See, I can access demon and angel powers. I can dualize them and or combine them into what we refer to as the grey.
But the me that’s with Soo-Jin strictly uses angel powers. And then there’s another me whom strictly uses demon power.
