I got to experience a county fair in Texas last night as I helped man the Democrat’s booth which was, of course, right next to one of the GOP’s candidates for a state office. There were three GOP booths in the bldg we were in & in the other bldg were the Republican Women. This is their booth:

The sunflowers are just gorgeous & they make sure my corn are growing nice & tall! My corn patch is BEAUTIFUL!! 🤓

This is my very old Rose of Sharon. Notice the blooms are solid white? At one time they had blooms that were white with the pink & purple centers that you’d normally associate with them. I had no idea that the blooms would change. Is this the normal way of Rose of Sharon bushes? Anybody know?

I just planted two! One on either side of an arch leading to my big veggie garden!! I just love the color variations! Can’t wait till they start climbing!!
