Finally got my wife to start playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Got this text from her today after she stopped at the store for bodywash and such.

I do believe the game has left a mark.

Today in "Things I never thought I'd even SEE let alone have a chance to own", I present the Vampire: The Masquerade Chess Set.

Found it complete and still with the box.

I learned very quickly that this is not the most functional set in the world. The Sabbat pawns are SO top-heavy. 😆

Finished Dead Take recently and was pretty impressed overall. It's rare I can bring myself to play a horror game these days, but this was JUST the right level of tense for me to enjoy and didn't overstay its welcome by being too long. Interesting puzzles and story and great performances.

Never thought I'd find a copy of the Luxury Edition V5 core rulebook, but after years of putting out feelers in various places, and was finally contacted about it. It feels wild how hard it was to even fine people who owned this. So happy to have it finally. My VtM collection is nearly complete!

I, too, found a frand recently while at work. Judt ablittle guy, but he was trying to use a grain sample port like a bird feeder until it nearly buried him. He ran off and then made this face at me.

Woke up today to find my dog dead in the hallway. Definitely not a pleasant start to my day. She was getting old, so it wasn't entirely unexpected, but it still hurts.

At least I can say she died doing what she loved: laying somewhere in order to be as in the way as possible at all times. 🥲

My Deluxe edition copy of the French printing of Werewolf: The Apocalypse 5th edition finally arrived. Such a great looking book and love the extras.

Feel like I should keep it with the W20 Book of the Wyrm deluxe edition for visual consistency, though. 😆

You'd think it would be more useful with how often they reference it. 🤔

Finally decided how to use the neat #VtM patches I got from @bynightstudios.bsky.social
I don't wear/use anything that patches work for, so I decided to turn them into fridge magnets.

I think the magnets I got are a little too strong since they keep pulling out of the glue I used, though. 😆

Seemingly, my midlife crisis has expressed itself as collecting rare or hard to find VtM books. This eventually broke containment and mutated to include other World of Darkness books and now Chronicles of Darkness.

Today, I finished an interesting pair with a recent arrival.

I only have WoD stuff, so the weird thing I have is of a different sort.

I have a copy of Storytellers Handbook to the Sabbat that had a print error that caused it to have an all white cover instead of the green marble. They were not released for sale, but a few ended up in the wild over time.

I realized that amid all my Veilguard posting, I hadn't actually shown my Rook yet. So here she is, my Beautiful Idiot, Althaia. Veiljumper and professional chaos goblin.

Honestly, I think this is one of the best-looking characters I've ever made in a game with in-depth character creation.

I got Bloodhunt art there, too. 😀

The environments in Dragon Age: Veilguard continue to exceed my expectations. The sheer scale and vibes of Weisshaupt Fortress are now one of my favorite things I've experienced in this series as a whole, not just in this game.

I've been enjoying Dragon Age: Veilguard, which is a bit of a relief. The environments especially have been visually wonderful, and I keep using photo mode.

Took this one recently, and my wife asked if I was taking reference photos for when we die, and the more I think about it, yes. XD
