Things did go wrong, but I dont know why we can't sit here and figure out what the dems did wrong too.

It is important to also acknowledge the mistakes the democrats made, too. Why, in the face of a uniquely bad candidate, did the democrats lose?

They didn't offer voters enough. People are suffering unnecessarily and democrats only offer half measures or a stern warning that republicans are worse.

You think the Iranian people were expecting help from the US? What help would that be, Bill?

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
January 30, 2026 at 2:54 AM
The demands were reasonable and the democrats still rejected them and made very serious policy errors.

Blaming voters alone is not the way. I think the main failure is the Democratic party establishment who failed to hold Trump accountable for the crimes of the first term.
January 27, 2026 at 5:06 PM
Never you say. Trump continues to do worse things every day and you suggest congress will never act. That's some serious fatalistic thinking there.
January 26, 2026 at 1:19 AM
Why doesn't it work? Think about it they're our representatives after all. They can at least SAY good things.
January 26, 2026 at 1:18 AM
They fight hard and say the things they arent. ICE has to go and everyone involved with these massacres need to be investigated. Trump needs to be impeached, removed and put on trial.

That's the least they can do, really.

They need to whip their people into voting against ICE funding, too.
January 25, 2026 at 10:44 PM
No one has agency when the system is controlled by special interest, really. I am hopeful that congress will see the light here, but I'm not feeling good about it.

Waiting for a year or even three for voters to overcome things like gerrymandering and the electoral college isn't working.
January 25, 2026 at 10:41 PM
If you want this to change at all, you have to come to terms with why the Dems have failed to stop or even slow this quickening avalanche of madness.

Stop blaming voters for the failure of the politicians to care about the welfare of the people.
January 25, 2026 at 9:24 PM
Dems will not win the midterms if they dont have a clear policy that matches the will of the voters.

That's why they lost last time, that's why they lose every time, even when they seem to have won.

Violence works when it successfully and strategically puts an end to resistance. Violence is used in conjunction with propaganda to justify it and quell negative public sentiment.

Non-violence works when it can highlight the injustice of state violence and overwhelm the effect of propaganda.

Why do you have to have weird, terrible political views to be a mainstream journalist writing behind a paywall?
December 30, 2025 at 2:34 PM
If you give MTG credit for passing one horrible bill after an overwhelming landslide of either authoritarianism or genuinely unhinged lunacy, you aren't just missing the big picture, you're a rube.
December 30, 2025 at 2:27 PM
Did she change her mind on Jan 6th pardons? Has she denounced ICE raids? Is she at all calling for democracy in any way that doesn't fall in line with her ideology?

Gimme a break.

Well if you want to talk and have a conversation with a human being and perhaps learn something, I am here for you.

You mentioned 2 cities. One of them perhaps you could suggest "slashed" their budget. This is not an overwhelming wave.
October 22, 2025 at 10:51 PM
The LAPD budget was never slashed. If you want to change the subject, I guess you can and we can take them one at a time.

Which city experienced a massive crime wave specifically due to a budget cut?
October 22, 2025 at 11:30 AM
I was talking about Los Angeles and I was right about Los Angeles, Brian.
October 19, 2025 at 6:08 PM
This is the LAPD budget. The slashing of the budget is a fantasy in your brain youve been sheepily fed.
October 18, 2025 at 4:14 PM
This is a thing you made up.
October 12, 2025 at 12:46 PM
Talk about weak, he stepped down from a primary campaign he had a very good chance of winning, just to torpedo the chances of the most progressive presidential candidate in a century. He couldn't even stand up to the democratic establishment!
August 8, 2025 at 12:08 PM
And how do we know that they didn't have it, but lost it when they were largely defeated in the 5th century? Anything you give them will likely be lost by that eventuality.
July 21, 2025 at 4:55 AM
LAPD budget is already big enough to have a space program.
July 2, 2025 at 2:36 PM
The movie is very good. The new characters are interesting. The uniforms are ridiculous. The transporter scene is brutal. A lot of stuff going on there.

That said, it's unlikely the original dishwasher was installed properly in the first place.

I know that code says you should have a timed light/fan in every bathroom but Ive never actually seen a bathroom with this feature.
January 24, 2025 at 3:37 PM
The part in season 2 when they go back in time and immediately get robbed in 2020s Los Angeles was probably the worst, most tone-deaf garbage in Star Trek ever.
