i have made some good friends through DA but i don’t think the feeling of being an idiot for getting overly invested in my stupid OCs just for them to mean absolutely less than nothing is ever gonna go. i never want to get into a series or characters who aren’t mine like that again.

it has been -checks notes- eight months since That Game came out and I do think not getting excited about any kind of new media is here to stay. i might get into things a few months after they come out but i refuse to get hype about anything before it comes out and before i play it.

at some point i’d like to take a week vacation in an isolated cabin in the woods to test if i can handle the “cutting myself off from civilization” lifestyle. like in theory, i do want to just live in the woods alone, but i should definitely try before i buy.
