Community Grocery Middlesbrough is hosting a Christmas Quiz next Saturday, 21st September, at 7pm in the St. Barnabas Church Hall. Food and tea/coffee included in the price, but you can bring your own drinks too!

It's Tuesday: You know what that means!The Eco Shop at Corpus Christi Primary School Middlesbrough has returned for another week! It's in the Sports Building at the School, and there'll be drinks, refreshments and a Christmas Raffle alongside the usual Eco Shop filled with a variety of goods!

As we get closer to Christmas, it's also a time when many begin to slowly start winding down for year's end. Eco Shops may close their doors over the festive period: You can find a comprehensive list of expected eco shop closures for Christmas, and their reopening times, in the attached image.

It's not the most glamorous job in the office, but Gary takes his job as Sustainability Gonk extraordinarily seriouslk.

When asked about how he feels about trading in his bicycle for a pen, Gary replied with "...", but tilted his head in such a way that indicated that such things don't bother him

Gary's a bit busy today: Having earned his stripes on Bikeability, Gary is now working with Climate Action Middlesbrough to write carbon reports and environmental action plans, as well as completing audits for organisations who are looking for support on their journey towards Net Zero.

Gary was out at St Therese of Lisieux Catholic Primary again today, assisting with teaching Bikeability to some amazing pupils who earned their certificates with flying colours, helping them to cycle safely and rule the roads with confidence and care!

The wonderful group also gave Les and Kim some amazing gifts, too, to show their appreciation for the cooking session. Thank you to all those who showed up, and here's to many more sessions to come!
