Yeah, the recession is set up by allowing/encouraging the AI/crypto bubble to continue inflating while sucking up all the money to hide the contraction in the real economy. That was an optional addition to the longer-term project of destroying the actual inputs of an advanced knowledge economy.

I honestly struggle to imagine Summers facing any consequences for simply not turning his grades in either (plus he obviously has TAs who are supposed to do that work for him), but that's just more evidence of the elite impunity thing going on here.

Yeah, the "good ending" needs more time to get established. That goes for the whole team dynamic, not just Visi. One of several reasons I think Dispatch is good at 8 episodes but probably near-perfect with 10.

You can (sometimes) talk your way to better wages and benefits at the table, but if you want a say in how the place is run you have to force that out of them somehow.
