itself then becomes its own form of harm, which, as it was realised post-2010, can be shared in the study. Does that make sense? I suppose it would be a form of delayed harm, which would be different to a primary harm that was immediately recognised. 3/3

in 2018, during therapy, a psychologist told their patient that an incident which occurred on a ward in 2004 was unlawful & unethical, and learning this made the patient re-evaluate their time on the ward, causing distress, and feelings of shame/betrayal/etc. The realisation 2/3

Hi, I'm sorry about the 2010 cut-off; the study is focusing on contemporary harms. While we cant use testimony of harm from before 2010 - if you didnt recognise that you were harmed until after 2010, and the *realisation itself* caused you harm, you are welcome to share that. For example, if in 1/

Hi, the study is part of my PhD - the testimonies people submit will be used in my thesis & also written up into academic papers & articles. Everything will be anonymised, so nobody can be identified. The aim is to contribute to a greater understanding & awareness of harm in mental health services.

Also, the online questionnaire saves your answers when you move to each new page, meaning if you use the same device you can go 1/
