Well, I was going to ask if anyone mentioned they were going to ask about something that was already talked about, but you've answered that, so...

Ep 136, I believe.

The Boyce-Codd zombie hive mind have informed me that your justification is sufficient, so your life and db will be spared.

Also, thousands of columns? What sort of information are they even storing?

R.F. Boyce and E.F. Codd are rolling in their graves.

Makes sense re: certifications.

Health issues suck, but Unreal sounds like it'd be fun to learn.

That's a name I haven't thought about in a long time.

Sad for a lot of reasons. Once the rest of the Jews get chased out of that group, they'll turn on the person in the screenshot anyway and pat themselves on the back for it.

Gen Ed can be fun! Good luck with those classes.

And hell yeah to going back. You going for A+, Net+, and/or Sec+? Game design would be fun, too.

Definitely wild. At least it makes for a fascinating (albeit terrifying) read.

Appreciate that. Tbh, a little glad to hear someone in the situation I'll (hopefully) be in think it's not as necessary because I'd love to not need to commute haha.

And oof. The meeting-that-should've-been-a-meeting is relatable.

Thanks! And I bet! I was (and still am) super excited, too.

Mind if I ask what major courses you're taking? I'm currently studying for a relational database course rn.

Interesting read. It makes sense, but I'd never sat and thought about Russia running disinformation campaigns in some of the countries mentioned.

1) Congrats on going back! I'm back for software engineering myself right now.
2) Great major choice!
3) Goblins are cool af.

Good luck with school!

Might I suggest a little Jar Bar Bie-nks?
February 6, 2024 at 1:19 AM
That's good to know. I feel like I'll still aim to be in person for my first one, but I'm glad it seems like it's not quite as necessary as I was thinking. Teams meetings when you're that close to each other sound agonizing though 😂

But if you take the pot and crate checker background, it ruins the immersion if you don't check every single one.

I feel that. For me, it's hypothetical political arguments with family members I see once every two years. I'd get back an hour or two each day if that ever stopped.

I'm working on a degree right now to hopefully switch to software engineering in the next few years. Not looking forward to needing to likely return to office either, but I'm hoping there's some degree of good by being around others with experience when starting out. Have you felt that at all?

I just discovered it like a month or so ago, and I've been listening to it nonstop. That episode is worth checking out if you haven't yet and are interested in it.

There's a good episode of Darknet Diaries with Gary Bowser talking about Team Xecuter in it.

I wish I could think of something equally witty to reply with, but I simply can't compete.
