I prefer hand building, as well. I’m a terrible potter! What porcelain do you use mostly? I’ve been using a Laguna and the Sio2 Black Ice. That fires so gorgeous, even unglazed!

That’s pretty awesome for your morning coffee at your desk or in a meeting! I also love (mostly, it’s a bitch to throw) porcelain. Nothing else fires that beautifully!

It is! I have some crystal forming glazes going in this load. I’m going to do a hold and slow drop on them and see if I can get them to form. My last load was a dud with a basic cone 6 slow fire. Time to get sciencey!
