I hear you. Honestly I think 2B is going to be a mess until Bazzana arrives. I wouldn’t be surprised if the FO makes some mid season trades as well.

Freeman is a great utility guy, but ultimately that lineup doesn’t need another .220 hitter.
Jones comes back healthy & plays like 2023 we’ve got someone with power who could potentially hit 20+ homers.
It’s a bit of a gamble but IF Jones can stay healthy we’ve got a much needed boost.
