before I call it a night: if twitter goes away, it doesn't matter what mastodon server you land on in a hurry. people can find you by name or handle across the federated network, and you can move your followers/followings to another server later, tomorrow, next month, whatever

local halifax/dartmouth folks: we bought a queen heated mattress pad two winters ago, and then when we moved to Dartmouth we bought a king bed. Sunbeam Selectouch, two controls… anyone want a heated mattress pad for, say, $100, so I don’t have to deal with kijiji?

Wow, what terrible service — @krisphq tried to charge my annual renewal at $60, the card had expired, so they immediately switched me to the free level and I can only upgrade at current ($100/year) pricing. Welp, now they’re getting $0, and I’ll never recommend them again.

ugh, waiting to fly YHZ-YTZ but Toronto has a ground stop for fog again. Flight delayed 30 min so far, forecast calls for fog to dissipate by noon, fingers crossed. (Not sure if YYZ is stopped as well)
