I came back to #warframe after a pretty long break and just got "Hey, Kiddo"'d. Made me choke on my spit at 2:30 AM. I was checking out my forge, and when I backed out. Boom, right on the corner smiling at me.

While I was looking at all my painted minis I stumbled across a photo I took right after I did a clean shave for a fit-test when I was a powder coater so I could get my former supervisor off my back, but also to prove I haven't aged since I was 17 (I'm 32) Here's a side by side.

This massive guy was the most recent paint job. I LOVED doing this guy. He was stomping around in my head and roaring the whole time I was trying to bring him to life. Man, I should paint some more...

This was the first time I ever attempted to paint metal. It was such a trip. I never took a picture of the finished mini, but I was pretty happy with it. Who doesn't love a mecha?

Frost giant redux.
SIKE! He's dead, or we'll, un-dead. This was painted about a year or so after the frost giant. Looks about as good, but took me maybe 1/5 of the time to paint it.

A HUGE frost giant i painted. This was actually the first paint job I was ever really happy with.

Just dirty 'n' dead. A big hulking zombie that was just a blast to paint. I really like painting monsters more than normal folks. I think that it's just easier to hide mess ups and just freestyle.

Anotha' dragon, this one icy. I really liked trying to layer varying whites to convey contrast. I have yet to use this one at my table lol

A pretty neat sea serpent dragon fella I painted. Was pretty happy with this one, just wish I could have made him look more...wet.
