Your silly little fun story is making me have emotions! Also curse you, cliffhangers, I need to know that best girl is safe!

Cultivated vulnerability is such a fun trait to see in others!

Where's the fun in that, though?

I need one of these for the "powered down" substitutions for my Orvar deck. If one shock collar is fun, maybe four is more fun! Or ten. Or thirty. Totally not gonna be a problem!

BOOOOOO. Well done.

I can explain this better world but all it does is make me sad and angry that we got this shitty vulture capitalist nightmare instead.

but it sure doesn't explain how to fix that problem in a meaningful way. Truth is I don't have answers. I can see the problems, I can see the vague shape of a world that is better, if not perfect then at least a lot closer, but I can't see the route to get there.

I wish I had an easy answer. We can't exactly overhaul society when the only people who benefit from the current system are the ones with all the power. Educated people are more able to see things as they are and as they should be, which explains the constant attempts by capitalism to kill education

So what's the solution? Capitalism doesn't work, but it is infectious, especially among the dumbest people in the world who somehow imagine themselves getting into the top 1% when they're a single bad day from starving to death in the street. How do we save everyone, or as many as possible, from it?

There's lots of worthless dumb shit we get forced to do for a paycheck, but it serves no purpose. What benefit would be lost to humanity if pushy sales call centers went offline? Or payday loan companies? None I can think of, aside from all those people out of jobs and unable to eat.

(Time x Effort)^Automation = Output and says "I will not change my expectation for time or effort, but will simply increase my demand for output". To put it bluntly, with automation, there is simply not enough needful work in the world for every adult to have a 40 hour/week job.
