Still not convinced he's best out wide. I always thought he'd be best through the middle...more of a "Vardy" type striker built around pace and clinical finishing. I get that might work best for teams that counter attack more than dominate. Still think there's a decent player in there.

If true why did Liverpool go for Ekitike? Were they put off by the price/likelihood of completing a deal for Isak? Ditto Arsenal - surely they would have gone for Isak over Gkyokeres if they knew he was open to moving this summer?

Temples in Flames tour seems to be very under-rated...but one of my favourites. The song selections, the arrangements and some of the vocal performances are great. Just a shame we don't have any soundboards from this tour.

Mmm - "distinctive sound" is pushing the diplomatic envelope somewhat! Some of the tracks are truly awful as a result - like most fans I believe there was/should have been a decent album in here but the poor production and song choices have meant this album has aged the worse of any release...

To borrow a Wengerism it feels like we've been swimming upstream all season...for a number of factors. Can only hope we turn it around next season & still lots of reasons to believe in the future even if it doesn't seem that way right now.
