Another pickup from Japan. These limited edition VMUs for the Dreamcast were only sold through club Sega in Japan in the late 90s and only 1,000-5,000 were made. Additionally, I believe this model was given to the team that worked on Sonic adventure as well iirc.

Mail call from Japan today. Everything in the photo, all 1100 dragon ball super heroes cards, and shipping set me back about 110 USD

Got 2 VM2’s in today after around a year of waiting. Super excited to set these up.

They work as Dreamcast VMU’s but accept microsd cards so they have effectively unlimited storage and saves can be transferred easily to and from a pc

I have been in the retro game collecting hobby for probably 4 and a half years now and have collected many sealed games. I never had any graded though, so I thought I’d see how the process was. Couldn’t have picked two more meaningful sealed games in the collection to try it out with! Not too shabby

25 years ago today CTR (Crash Team Racing) released. it was actually my favorite kart racer around that time, the story mode added a huge incentive to actually play it single player even if you didn't have friends over like the alternatives. Gotta get around to playing the remake. #retrogames #crash
