i am! i didn’t like that X pushed political propaganda, so i switched to Bsky. i don’t like that my data isn’t secure on insta so im using XHS to find similar content to what i’d look at on insta.

they care if a sharp decline in X/meta users leads to a drop in stock. whether or not that actually happens, it’s better to take action than to passively accept social media sites that sell your data. i would go as far as to argue that it’s ALWAYS better to take action over the things you care about

i think you’re missing the point of people moving to XHS then. it’s a spiteful action made to let the govt know that people are SO unhappy with the lack of data privacy in the US that they’d rather take the chance of engaging with propaganda on XHS than use X/FB, which are KNOWN to sell user data
