I'm a big fan of English dubbing which I think is to this day entirely underrated so this shall be my account where I shamelessly post praises for dubs.
The fact that behind the voice actors doesn't have Hyouka is so mean. So many great talents like all of Kyoto Animation's shows and I get to be jumpscared suddenly hearing Ian Sinclair's amazing joyful voice from a side character (Masashi Togaito). Nice hearing him at least he brightens up shows.

It's finally time. Michelle Ruff plays the enigmatic interface Yuki Nagato for every appearance she's been in. Yuki Nagato has honestly been one of the most important characters in my life and her robotic yet grounded performance in the original? Unforgettable isn't strong enough a word for it! 1/6

Did you know that in the episode Mysterique Sign Emiri Kimidori is voiced by Hynden Walch of Starfire and Princess Bubblegum fame? She really fits and her voice is nice, I know her character becomes very important in the next few arcs in the light novels so I hope she comes back if the show returns!

I say most of the time because the one and only Bryn Apprill stepped-in as Ryoko for 3 episodes in Yuki-chan and since she's the only one of the two with a online presence I thought it fair to mention her diligent and appreciated work in the role as well! She did a great job capturing the character!

Did you know Ryoko Asakura from Haruhi and Lain Iwakura from SEL share a VA? Most of the time! Her main VA Bridget Hoffman really brought out the caring but intimidating interface Ryoko, really playing opposite to the socially-awkward Lain. Her work in Yuki-chan as Mama Asakura is super great too!

For those not in the know, yes the dub cast also did versions of the Haruhi-chan and Nyoron! If you haven't seen either of them the more surreal and zany humor in both is captured perfectly by the cast along with Koizumi's bi panic. They're both definitely worth a watch if you haven't already!

Her work as Seiko Ayase in Dandadan I plan on talking about soon enough, but before it Kari Wahlgren was Kyon's sister and the ever-excited, suprisignly-rigid Tsuruya. Her infectious laughter and protectiveness towards Mikuru were both perfectly portrayed. Of course her love of smoke cheese was too!

Move over Ichigo! Itsuki Koizumi is Johnny Yong Bosch's 2000s anime standout. The intellectual esper was perfectly brought to life by his technical annunciation and general philosophical demeanor. He really pulled you into the quandaries he was pondering and his more playful nature was also seen.

Now she's probably better known as the current voice of Sailor Moon but I first heard the legendary Stephanie Sheh as Mikuru Asahina. Her work for both young and adult Mikuru has great skill and distinction with a ton of draining scenes for both her skills brought the role to life in English!

There's no Kyon without Haruhi and Wendee Lee's work is second to none, her bright playful tone is what made the brigade leader so loveable tor me. There's so many times when that utter gremlin is saved only by the infectious joy of her VA, somber moments are underrated for her sincere range shown.

Can't forget our leading man! Even if his cards don't sell: Kyon, played by Crispin Freeman is the perfect straight man. His voice is perfectly adversarial; unsurprising from the guy who also played Touga Kiryuu in RGU. Kyon's debate in disappearance is some of his best work ever with such emotion.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was the dub that got me into anime. The cast is nothing but Legendary! I want to talk about them in this thread and I can only hope if the rumors I'm hearing of a new anime project come true that we see the reprisal of the cast that made the show so special to us.
