Wow, it's been a hot minute! I've been busy on my comic project! But I did have a chance to play in a DnD one shot! So I drew my character while I was at the table~

At the bottom of a recent mood swing I had convinced myself that I have, in fact, gotten worse at drawing than when I started.
This is of course, not true!
Gotta learn to be kind to yourself. I've only been at this for 7ish months.
I'm doing great~
So have a practice sheet.

I recently found @emiliodekure.bsky.social on YouTube. I dunno what it is about the way he explains things, or the simplifications just ring with me. But he's been a huge help with my figure drawing ~

Red pencils. Several artists and friends use them, and I figured colored pencils would do the trick! But no, now I know the true power of a proper red pencil~

I've been fighting some art block recently. So I dove into doing studies to work through it. But now I'm locked in on studies and I still can't work on my flower project... So here's a couple paint overs of the Asaro head I did as a lighting study.
