Been knitting up my Nightlights Cowl a lot. I am on the third to last repeat of the increases if I follow the instruction exactly, which I am probably not. Might do one or two more. But it’s a lot of nice fun.

Screw it. I'm not binding Lin to Dark Green. She loves the color, but she loves lots of them. She's no longer tied to MSQ, so yeah.

I finished the hat. It is lovely. But also my cat thinks he helped. (He did not. If anything, he did the opposite of helping by stealing the yarn balls and trying to eat the needles)

Now in the decreases. I forget how easy hats can be. I expected this to take a bit longer, but I guess I locked in.

Started the Striping. I’m doing a fun little pattern with it because my original idea needed a very specific number of stitches and I didn’t want to mess with decreasing another 4 stitches and having to remember to add them. But it’s nice.

Family might do a White Elephant exchange so I am knitting a nice gender neutral hat. Using leftover Malabrigo Rios in Whales Road, Water Green, and (if needed) Matisse Blue. Think they go nice together. #knitting 🧶

If this was like... a project focused on normal stuff I'd actually consider the Felici, but nah. All stroll is what I'm looking at.
If only I trusted that I could actually get the yarn from the Netherlands to the US, but I don't trust customs even now. Because that pink set on S&P is gorgeous.

I'm very tempted to do the Hiberknitalong, but while I love the Pink yarn prepared for it, I also worry about that. So I'm browsing the obvious lazy option and check this.

I should be done, but the JB subreddit mentions one pic and I had to look for it and… yeah… my brain went to G’raha’s ice cream moment there. At least this ice pop is supposed to be eaten this way.

Been following the Stephen West MKAL this year. Maybe I’ll do the next one. Decided to practice basic Brioche a bit for fun (I can try 2 color in a bit) #knitting 🧶

Tho seriously, you have no clue how glad I am about the Sanctified Twinfangs. I’ve been looking for the right VPR weapon for Lin with no success, but these came around and are perfect both in looks and lore.

Someone is wrong about how nice the final form of these weapons are, and how well they match Lin's aethetic and color scheme. Lin is amazing with them. And so yes, I will be running this a lot to get a bunch of these in the final forms (Which costs 90 aetherpool each)

Anyway, on the knitting side, I decided to get the full pattern set of Stephen Wests's Painting Shawls. Feels like it would be a good way to get used to his favorite techniques and writing style.

I made her a while ago, before Epp4Add1 of Corru.Observer, but I really really had to make an Akizet retainer.
I can't get real Obesk horns, but I think I did a good job with Akizet.
If I ever do the Retainer Venture stuff, it'll just be for Akizet. And I guess I'd have to do Monk for her.

Frogged it cuz I saw a mistake that would bother me. Restarted. Frogged halfway cuz of issues, but it looks so much better now. A bit of a “trust the process” kind of knit at first, but once you get the hang of the four sets of four per repeat I don’t need to focus too hard. #knitting 🧶
