Mine is the "More is more" vibe. In 2012 all of my Christmas decorations were stolen from a storage unit. Things my kids had made and old ornaments that I loved. What you see here are the ones I started over with.

As someone who lived before the polio vaccine was created, I remain gob smacked at these people who are against vaccinations. The boy across the street contracted polio the year before its discovery. Why people would risk their children's lives and/or health like this is beyond me.

I live in Texas. A few years ago I attended my grandson's school Christmas program. He's autistic and was one of the Christmas story readers. I was overcome with emotion. On the way out I apologized to the principal, saying I was "verklempt." Couldn't think of a better word for what I felt.
