I also think at some point games are already 'high fidelity' enough. Like how much more realistic do we need our games to look? (And then I think back to older games who focused on style because of hardware limitations, and how those have lasted the test of time)

Also I think re: boothers at anime conventions aren't usually making *enough* of a profit for it to be a problem. IIRC Hoyo encourages fanworks to be sold at conventions, it just can't be mass produced (which most artist alley tables can't do anyway)
