This has to come to a head. It’s gonna hurt.. A LOT. But just like an addict hitting rock bottom, that’s the only meaningful way towards recovery.

Voting Yes is just prolonging the showdown that needs to happen. Just as it was in March when senate dems caved the first time in this CR. It gave republicans time to check off more on their Project 2025 to do list.

Schumer got them to vote "yes," so he could vote NO and save face.
