There are great beta readers out there who don’t charge. I happen to be one of them 😂😂

I agree that beta readers do not, and should not replace a professional edit. But I always point out any major issues I find. I appreciate it when my beta readers do the same for me.

I point out typos unless specifically asked not to. The more you catch, the fewer the editor may miss. No one is perfect. It takes a villlage😂
