It’s awful to give up, but for my personal health, I’m glad I’ve accepted that no one or nothing is going to stop Trump and his crew, and that we won’t in my lifetime return to any semblance of democracy. It still sucks, but can’t focus anymore on something I can’t change.

I hope most people understand that Dems winning the mid-terms is an extreme long shot. Republicans are gerrymandering so many states they control. It’s pretty hopeless.
