I lost my mom today. She was 90 years old. We almost lost her at 80, but she fought hard 2 recover & made it. Alzheimer’s tried to take her memory, but she remembered us all until the end. She made me go to college even tho she lost my dad & had 3 kids still at home. She was my biggest cheerleader.

You never know what you will see while walking along the river… two Sandhill Cranes, dozens of White-throated Sparrows, or a beaver sitting silently in the water, staring back at you for what seems like forever. Judgey beaver. 😁

My dog Zane (in back) came with his name when I adopted him. A friend suggested I name his sister Zoe to keep the Z’s going (she was originally named Kawasaki as part of the motorcycle litter with our rescue.) She was my foster puppy. 😊
