Ugh. Yeah, that sucks. I'll admit, there are times we don't get a whole lot done in game, but our campaigns are multiple years old and I'm on the younger side of our table at 46. We sometimes devolve into IRL talk, but we all agreed on the "social contract" so to speak.

Sorry to hear that. Been a long time since I've played with strangers. Always helps to know going in what type of table the DM is expecting. One of my tables goofs around a bit, but we are typically serious. The other we are expected to be IC almost the entire time with little side talk. Diff DMs

Yep. It has been a long time since they've been anything remotely like that. My parents had been Republicans for a long time, but they swapped, I believe, during the first baby Bush. They had their eyes opened.

How does one get access to the discord server? I signed up when it was first announced, but don't remember receiving anything on it. Also didn't use Discord much then, but I've gotten more into it recently.
