I bought another $100 worth of potable water for my parents in Early due to the nitrate levels. This water crisis has been going on since January w/ no help from elected officials. Why does it take impacting DSM before there is any sort of response or intervention? We’re leaving rural IA behind.

The water crisis in western Iowa is alarming. I have had to buy my parents water in Cedar Rapids and drive it to Early due to the high nitrate levels/water shortage because of drought conditions. More needs to be done to help these small communities in the western part of the state.

I can say w/ absolute certainty I was NOT paid to protest & instead used my own currency, which MAGA lacks, called “free will” or “a backbone” to join the #HandsOff movement yesterday. Protecting our democracy doesn’t have to come w/ a paycheck, but if social change is the payment, then I’m all in.
